Architect Console: A Constitutional Governance Dashboard
The Architect Console is the operator surface through which a single human-in-the-loop authority observes, constrains, and directs an autonomous AI orchestration substrate. It renders the T5-RIGID authority hierarchy as a live, inspectable surface and binds every operational claim to a machine-readable system of record. This document is a reduction-to-practice account: the console described here is deployed and operating at vesper.ethraeon.ai.
1. The governance problem
Autonomous AI systems act faster than any human can supervise step by step. The governance question is therefore not "how does a human approve each action" but "how does a human remain sovereign over a system that acts continuously." ETHRAEON answers this with a constitutional runtime: a deterministic layer that holds intelligence to declared constraints and exposes the resulting state to the human authority through one console.
2. The T5-RIGID authority hierarchy
Authority in ETHRAEON is tiered and non-delegable at the top. The Architect Console renders this hierarchy directly:
- AC-1 (sovereign authority). The sole human-in-the-loop. No agent seals independently; no directive executes without AC-1 authorization. This authority is non-delegable.
- Federated agents. Orchestrator, executor, and reconciler roles operate under the constitution, carrying context under explicit authorization rather than acting on their own account.
- Constitutional rules. Five rule classes govern every action surface: Stop, Alert, Block, Guide, and Anchor. The console displays each rule's current state.
- System of record. ETHRAEON itself is the source of truth. Drafts, receipts, and external tools are output artifacts only, never authority.
3. Real-time constitutional system monitoring
The console is not a static report. It consumes a live machine-readable control plane and presents the operator with current state across the substrate:
- System of record. Confirms ETHRAEON is the authority and that no external assistant is required for normal operations.
- Runtime packages. A live inventory and activation matrix of the constitutional runtime systems, each marked live, staged, or exact-gated.
- Action bus and provider adapters. The set of action types the substrate can prepare, each held behind explicit human authorization. No action auto-executes.
- Recipient packets and approval surface. Prepared work staged for the sovereign authority to review and dispose. Nothing is sent without that disposition.
4. Reduction to practice
The console is operating, not proposed. Its control-plane endpoints respond live and return the governance state described above: the system of record confirms ETHRAEON authority, runtime packages are enumerated and visible, the action bus is exposed, and the approval surface presents staged work to the human authority. The deterministic discipline holds throughout: append-only evidence, fail-closed defaults, and no fabrication of state.
5. Patent context
The Architect Console reduces to practice claims across patent families F1, F2, and F7, covering constitutional runtime governance, deterministic authority hierarchies, and evidence-anchored system monitoring. ETHRAEON Systems maintains 16 filed provisionals across 73 specifications and 9 families.
The next moat is not access to intelligence. It is governed differentiation: intelligence that remains human-sovereign, auditable, and non-average. The Architect Console is where that governance is seen and exercised. Humanitas ante Machinam.
